    • Monthly variable rate: With a low initial monthly rate,  the rate per kilowatt per hour (kWh) or gas use per cubic feed (CcF or McF) can change from month to month. You can pay a competitive rate during peak months, and a typically a lower rate during the “off-season.”
    • Fixed rate: This rate is set, so that the rate fee per kilowatt per hour (kWh), the volume of natural gas used per 100 cubic feet (CcF), or the volume of natural gas used per 1,000 cubic feet (McF) never changes. The kWh rate is the same in the bitter cold of February as it is in the friendly weather of May and June. A 12-month fixed rate means you have no surprises when bills tend to climb in the winter. While your energy usage may increase, your rate never will.
  • Fixed rate, Renewable energy: Again, this rate is set for the entire year with an unchanging rate for the kWh, CcF or McF. But here, you have the added knowledge that you are using 100% renewable energy.
